What We Provide
Homeschooling isn't easy. But most of us will agree, it's worth it.
Kingdom Oaks Academy seeks to provide parents with one-day a week of in-person support for their child's education that helps engage children as they ask questions and become excited about learning.
The rest of the week parents receive suggested learning topics to take the guess-work out of homeschooling.
In-Person Learning
One day a week, children come together for a full and fun day of learning and growth.
The day begins with chapel, and each day includes some time for fitness, creativity, and play, as well as core subjects which include:
-Social Studies, through an emphasis on Biblical History;
-Math, with an emphasis on Business and Finance;
-Language Arts, with an emphasis on creative writing and public speaking;
-Discipleship and Spiritual Formation, with an emphasis on faith, leadership, and emotional health and regulation;
-Science, with an emphasis on God's creative work.
Homeschool Support
Parents are provided suggested curriculum to work on throughout the week with their child.
This support is intended to take the pressure off while keeping children on track and allowing for different learning styles.
Community
Homeschooling can be incredibly lonely.
Kingdom Oaks Academy replaces this loneliness with incredible community and support for both children and parents.
